I doubt they could pressure Kadokawa considering they're bigger than any publisher/hardware maker in this case.
Square Enix was too ashamed of Left Alive's numbers and pressured them into this I'm 105% sure, smh
Someone please don't tell Square Enix about the British numbers.
Still not sure where this comes from. Kadokawa is a fraction of the size of the major players. By market valuation, as of today, approximately:
Kadokawa Dwango - $750m ($0.75B)
Sony - $60B
Nintendo - $40B
Square Enix - $3.8B
Bandai Namco - $9.6B
Sega Sammy - $3.0B
Capcom - $2.8B
Really ? I keep hearing about how huge Kadokawa is though.
Play games? Nah, now we just speculate on and get overly hyped for Nintendo Directs.

More companies should be like Capcom in that regard.
Much of this isn't all that different from what you'll get out of Nintendo. And we also have issues of Capcom recently merging their new SKU's with catalog titles when they used to remain separate.
So now we can say things such as "but with Amazon sales it's much more" (Amazon sales will be the new "but with digital...").
The problem is the British sales numbers are so different from the things happen in the rest of the world (and the market is relatively small). These numbers are just useless in a grander scale to see if a game/console is successful worldwide.
The threads aren't going away. We are moving on to Famitsu. There's no sign that they and Dengeki are following MC at this point in time.
