I'm saying that if it were possible to 'reset' the immune system, so to speak, that it could be used to potentially cure auto-immune disorders.
Facts.
Which, honestly, is even a dumb argument by their own logic, as if all things--intellect, resources, technology, etc.--are gifts from God, why aren't vaccines?Yes and no. They are indeed the OG anti-vaxxers, but their reasoning isn't: "That stuff is dangerous and gives you autism" but rather "You lack faith in God as a protector from disease if you vaccinate"
And allergies.None.

Hmmm - are there any situations where a partial delete of the immune system would prove beneficial?
Pretty much.and the only reason we just fund out about this was because measles was mostly erradicated but because of anti-vaxx assholes it made a come back right?
You know, it'd be pretty ironic if this does lead to a breakthrough, as we'll have the anti-vax assholes to thank for it.and the only reason we just fund out about this was because measles was mostly erradicated but because of anti-vaxx assholes it made a come back right?
The idea that a parent can protect their children from germs is nonsense. I'd call it hilariously stupid, if it weren't for the fact that a lot of anti-vaxxer parents think they can do just that. Thus it is more of a tragedy than a comedy. Most of these children probably don't have immune systems, anyway, as their parents pretty much keep them away from all germs, anyway.
