These are the shit, they still available nationwide? I feel like I don't see them at my local ones
Man...when these things are warm they are bussin'
I just had one of them a few minutes ago and it was perfect. What a fucking awesome Valentine's Day.
I admit it's kind of a chemically abomination, but I won't lie: I love McD's holiday pie.
The apple pies are fine, but I always seek these out when they're available.
It's a vanilla(ish) custard. The crust is like a sugar cookie.
I don't think i've had one in 15 years or so. I don't even really remember what they're like. Next time I'll pick one up.
Came to post this. These are pretty damn good.I admit it's kind of a chemically abomination, but I won't lie: I love McD's holiday pie.

I loved this the first time I tried one in early December last year, but then I got another a few weeks later and it was cold and the filling was gummy. Left me so disappointed I didn't try another before they left. :(I admit it's kind of a chemically abomination, but I won't lie: I love McD's holiday pie.

I was pretty upset when they changed them. Was happy again when I moved to the UK and discovered UK McDonalds still does the OG fried recipe. Had one yesterday and it's still awesome.

The overall effect is that of a gooey, slightly underbaked sugar cookie. If that's your kind of thing (and it's very much mine), it's pretty damn good.
Honestly
Just thinking about the taste of cooked apple makes me kind of nauseous

Really? Are you allergic? I find cooked apple to be very pleasant.
Boiling hot apple pie is why their shakes exist. When warm and they didn't overcook it to the point where all the filling boiled out.
The stawberry and cream pie is superior in every conceivable way

My sentiments exactlyDo they serve those all year round? Because I would fuck that shit up big time!
I meant literally. I've had pies a number of times where it was pretty much just crust cause it literally boiled out due to being overcooked.
