If this were any IP other than Marvel there's no way the mods would allow a separate thread for every single announcement.

Marvel is a label for an array of individual IP. Would you demand one thread for everything Simon and Schuster published?
Wanda needs more characterization since she's basically just been a side-character since AoU.

My guess is Wanda uses her vast and mysterious eldrich magic to bring Vision back from the dead, which draws the attention of extra dimensional beings and causes her powers to begin to go haywire.

How is this different than Nintendo announcing 5 new games at their E3 Direct and each one getting it's own thread? Mods allow that.

In the comics she doesn't just shoot energy blasts, she's more like a sorceress and can cast hexes and magicks.
It's a 95% certainty that she will go from this to Captain Marvel 2.
Maybe whatever they are dealing with, it's a world-threatening event so she has to act in lieu of SWORD? Captain Marvel Corps?

Could be from the same source. Strange accesses power from other dimensions through use of practiced spells. Experiments and exposure to the mind stone could have unlocked unconscious abilities to do the same in Wanda, which is why she needs help learning control.
