That's my biggest worry.
How short is this game? Cause this definitely looks like "base game is 8 hours, pay for more content later"

Definitely. And uh... I know it's "their interpretation" or whatever but the faces don't really even look like their characters.
The designs (and CGI in general) reminds me a lot of the original Ultimate Alliance cutscenes. Obviously better graphically, but, same sort of vibe.
In general I'm not really into a multiplayer mission-based longterm game but depending on how it actually plays, I might bite. And depending on how big they expect that roster to grow. I want to get some outside picks in there - give me Nova and Ghost Rider and Moon Knight, don't just sort by "highest grossing MCU movie" and go down the list.

Yeah, I don't get it either. Character models are iffy for sure but the rest looked fine at the very worst.
I'm honestly pretty confused by the reveal. It seems really linear and story driven, but they're treating it like its supposed to be 4 player co-op with a growing games as a service sorta deal? Maybe? Would love to know more.
Black widow could be easily replaced with someone more interesting. Captain marvel could do, if they want to add a female character or Scarlet Witch.

What's the loop even supposed to be? I can't tell if it's supposed to be a beat em up or like, an action adventure game, or what.

The writing and voice acting in this game feels....unacceptable? Maybe this would have been okay around a decade ago, but man this just sounds lame as hell.

Man, this was an astoundingly underwhelming reveal. I can't quite describe exactly what it is but I get PS3/360-era vibes from the way they're presenting it.

The lack of business acumen here baffles my mind at times lol.
For a solo game it's easier to swallow, especially since MCU Spidey only had a single movie under his belt at that point.
But for a major ensemble piece like this with so many characters we've become so familiar with, it's hard to escape the feeling that you're just looking at the Avengers' stunt doubles.

I only ever see it in the comics, there's an entire Marvel line dedicated to basically re-telling or re-releasing old stories and arcs centered around specific characters...
