So that stinger was creative but also cringy

I kind of feel like the showrunners are flabbergasted by their renewal so they're just throwing whatever the fuck they want on screen because you only live once.

That is definitely what they're doing, and I'm here for it. This is pretty much their victory lap season lol

So next week's gonna be a break? Ugh D:

Is the next episode gonna be in space again?

The preview made it look like the next episode is going to feature both storylines. I was starting to think they were only going to do one episode each and go back and forth between each story the entire season.

I understood the whole "code yellow" thing, but did anyone else notice the little Lemon plant in a flower pot on the front desk of Deke's business?

Yea that was terrifying

I did not 🍋

The Kree used bracelets on humans to keep them in line.

Ahhh

Is there any parallel in the comics to these zombie alien bat things or is this 100% original material?

Fun fact, apparently this is the first episode in the series that hasn't had Jemma in it in any capacity. So that leaves Daisy and... Clark Gregg as the only characters that have appeared in every single episode of the series apparently.

Relatively fun episode. Nice to finally see Deke, though I was disappointed that Shield already knew he still exists, which took some of the fun out of his return; hopefully Daisy and Simmons don't know at least, I wanna see some WTF reactions about him still being alive.

Maurissa Tancharoen, who is one of the showrunners (her husband Jed Whedon being the other), did a good job in her cameo, but I could've done without her having this snapchat-esque ending scene; would've rather had gotten more info on Evil Coulson or Fitz to end the episode with.

Yo why does this season have to be so good!

Really wonder what is going to fill the void after this is gone. Seems like every other Marvel show is going to Hulu or Disney+. I would laugh if they did a SWORD show next.

So my first coherent thoughts about this episode were: "Deke founded... Google or the future I guess?" 🤣🤣

That said I expected a lot of things but not alien parasites. Interesting.

She puked in the last two episodes of S5. (puke = pregnant in TV language, just as coughing = you're sick)

EDIT: it usually does, yeah, so I was thinking the same thing when she puked in s5. But then again, she's a doctor, wouldn't she realize she is pregnant and most importantly realize when she's lost a child? In which case I feel like they would have addressed that in one shape or form by now...

Great episode. Had everything for me - lots of humor (Deke has turned into an amazing character), good action (May/Snowflake) and some really good horror elements.

I also love that we are still very much in the dark on where this season is going.

Also, for some reason, it really got me when Sequoia wanted to bring the boba tea when her and Deke were trying to escape lol.

Episode was great. I've always enjoyed Deke.

I wonder how he'll react to Fitz dying, and more importantly, no one telling him for over a year that Fitz is dead and Simmons is in space looking for fake Fitz.

Just watched Episode 3. That was a tripping one. I think this was clearly the best episode of the season. The effects also looks very solid. And Quake had a somewhat cool action scene, but I just wish they could make her quaking powers look cooler. It looked cool in the first episode when she dismantled those guys guns. Loved the cinematography and how the effects really brought Kitson to life with the neon signs and hovering cars outside, while having so much detail in the casino.

Gonna have to catch up with the latest episode tonight.
