He doesn't have to go to sleep though. The future he needed to sleep for is no longer happening, in this timeline. They stopped Graviton and the Earth is (relatively) safe. He THINKS he still needs to sleep because he doesn't know any of that yet.
Oh my point was just supposed to be that while the time loop was broken, we have no idea if Fitz's little misadventure here is actually a misadventure or exactly what happens. We know that the space crew chasing him is obviously new, but are he and Enoch actually doing anything new?
I honestly don't remember.
I wasn't sure how affected Fitz and Enoch were at this point. At some point Enoch had to leave the ship to build street cred for Fitz.

That Fitz getting teleported moment reminds me of every other 'screw you, we're going to fuck with FitzSimmons' moments. Why torture me, Shield?!?

The direction of this episode and the humor was off.
I really hope this tone won't last for the rest of the season.
Also, the "seperation" trope for FitzSimmos is getting really old.
I'm really starting to feel like the writers are just abusing that trope at this point.

I see this was a very divisive episode xD.
I enjoyed parts of it more than the previous two episodes of this season, and parts less. Simmons and Jemma being high on space puffs was funny until about halfway through them sitting at the bar (also really well acted, because I realized something was off with them before they revealed it through the camera trippy camera effects).
I did enjoy Enoch's and Fitz' dynamic tho. Still feel like Fitz is bluffing about the best friend thing though despite what he says so that's not nice, Fitz. :(
Also Fitz getting taken at the end... Really... REALLY? They're starting to push this. Either this ends up directly tying in to what is happening on Earth in some way or - if they don't resolve this by the end of next episode - they're entirely dragging this too long.

People acting drunk or high will never be funny. It was a painful walk towards the conclusion. Everything that happened from the whatshisface letting the bad guy escape to Daisy/Simmons jokes was stale. Hell, even the main plot of scamming gambling wins and the episode title was borrowed from other works. It wasnt terrible but it was a wasted opportunity to do almost anything else.
Maybe I'm tripping balls, but I think that was the most entertaining episode of SHIELD I've ever seen
