I could see Chris Evans totally being up for it, not sure if MCU would though.
I'm pretty sure Chris Evans was against showing up in Agents of Shield, when they had Clark Gregg on call during a tonight show some years ago. I don't think he fancies it.
I've heard Renner has damned near begged to be on the show. Really should have had him guest when Mockingbird was on. :(

They probably always meant May when they said Summer and everyone just assumed end of June when Summer actually starts.
I'd be willing to bet it's really unusual, and I think it means S7 will be this fall/winter. No way they start now and sit on the episodes for a year all the way to next summer.
Unless filming now works out best for the cast's schedule because they'll be busy with other projects later.

Honestly if it had ended with S5 I would've been happy.

How? It's still a perfectly happy ending. They get to go find him and wake him before all of the horrible shit happens. It's also very much a "MORE ADVENTURES AWAIT" kind of thing.
Well, it's ambiguous, and I'd rather see that storyline be resolved, rather than assume it ends happily.
There's literally no reason to assume it wouldn't go well. All of their antagonists were dead.
Yes, because if there's anything I learned from 5 seasons of AoS, things always go right for them.
