Love the idea. Tough to get something to clash as hard as the actual logo with the dextures and lighting and colors available etc, but you got pretty close.

Sidenote, the show director confirmed today that this is not a mephisto reference, they just had a bit of satan imagery because Loki is also a god cast out of heaven etc

Hah, really making sure we don't get any repeats of Wandavision.

It's really unfortunate, I still see people going like "Will MoM live up to Wandavision's failed promises?" as if the entire point of Wandavision was to set up Mephisto and FoX-Men mutants and it's just....gah.

Title should have been Journey Into Mystery (or Journey Into Misery based off of Kieron Gillen's comic run).

Excited to see where this show takes us. I'm all for dimension and timeline hopping craziness.

Pretty sure we might see Utopia for the first time in this show before it appears again in Doctor Strange.

Loki LAUFEYSON and not Odinson. Nice touch to differentiate that he's a bit more evil than the dead one in the Prime timeline.

Also damn Tom Hiddleston hasn't really aged since Avengers has he
Isn't Laufeyson his real name regardless of what Loki calls himself? The TVA would use his birth name just like if he met Red Skull guarding the Soul Stone.

I doubt it's to differentiate him from the dead Loki, just stating a fact/Easter egg that some might have forgotten

Don't know what the original ot title was but I'm guessing it was bad lol. Either way time to inject more Marvel into my veins. I work till 4am so I'll have to watch it as soon as I get home from work.

It turned out to be a sexist joke from a known shithead (not sure why the original OP went with it, to be honest). Fortunately, I was made aware of it quickly & the change was made to the title you see now.

Saw a few days ago that it was only 6 episodes and was a bit disappointed. :( Are they at least one hour each?

Watching the Loki recap episode for Marvel Legends now, and I forgot about Loki crying as he's threatening Thor before the final fight in the first Thor. He is really is a fantastic character. I'm actually ok with him being retconned into being influenced by his scepter in The Avengers to explain his more straight-up evil tendencies in that movie.

My best guess is that this show's version of Loki starts to get redeemed a bit when he learns about Freya dying in Thor 2 and the Asgardians being nearly wiped out in Ragnarok/Infinity War. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up trying to use the TVA to his benefit, only for the reveal to be that he's trying to save his mother from dying before being forced to accept her death.

With all the run times added up were Wandavision and Falcon & Winter Soldier roughly equivalent across the series?

Would be fun if they had Loki transform into different forms for different episodes.
Older, female, kid, animal? etc.

Even though I kinda hate the original Thor movie, the two scenes of that film I actually enjoyed were that scene, and then of course Loki's breakdown in front of Odin when he realizes he's half-Jotun. Hiddleston absolutely brought it in those two scenes, and they're basically the only reasons it made sense or them to have Branagh direct the movie.

I hate these midnight PDT drops, it's 3 AM here on the east coast when it actually releases. I won't have time to watch this until until that evening, so I have to spend the day dodging spoilers everywhere. /whine

Super excited for the series, though - I love time shenanigans, I'm really excited to see Marvel do more of them.

I'm stuck in an all-day meeting with required participation tomorrow. So can't sneak off during lunch to watch the episode. :'(

We're finally getting another show. The wait felt much longer than it really was. I am totally excited for tomorrow (for this and PSO2 NGS)!

Someone remind me how Loki used the Space Stone, didn't Cap put them back in the correct order?

The Space Stone Steve put back was from the 70's (Tony took it from a SHIELD outpost where Howard Stark & Hank Pym were at the time). The 2012 Space Stone was their first botched attempt after 2012 Hulk barged in angry about taking the stairs & caused the open briefcase holding the Space Stone to slide over to Loki.

I'm particularly looking forward to writer Michael Waldron's contributions between this and Multiverse of Madness, especially since the latter had to be reportedly rewritten from scratch when he and Raimi came in. He's mentioned in interviews wanting to touch on the time travel introduced in Endgame and between both it really seems like he's gonna be the architect for how alternate timelines and dimensions work in the MCU, which sounds really exciting.

The Space Stone they ended up getting in the Time Heist was from the Seventies. They had to make another time travel trip because Loki escaped with it in their first attempt.

The Indiewire review sounds worryingly plausible - I really hope to enjoy it and they are overstating the issues

A lore question for the specialists : how come the TVA didn't intervene in Endgame?
If you mean the Avengers in general, Steve put the Stones back from the moment they were taken. So chronologically, it was like they never left (as Hulk said). If you mean Steve spending his life with Peggy, it's likely because he didn't take an Infinity Stone from its intended place in history (which, as the Ancient One said, creates time branches that break reality). Mobius even mentioned in one of the trailers that taking the Space Stone was what broke reality.
