Yeah I don't get this lmao. The opening was clearly Raimi's style of "strange and fucking scary".
I read somewhere that it is Shuma Gorath, but for some reason they couldn't use the name so it's him but with another name or something
When Strange is brought in as a prisoner, it's Charles talking to him. Clearly Patrick Stewart's voice.
There are other people standing on that stage with him. The thought is that it's the Illuminati but made up of characters from the multiverse.

The tentacle monster is esentially Shuma Gorath. However they call it Gargantos in the movie because the name Shuma Gorath comes from the Kull books (which are Conan the Barbarian prequels), and so they are legally unable to use the name.

NWH is a great ride, can't wait to catch it again, but it's a messy film
Loki is cool but it slips at the end
SC had a strong first half then crumbles into the usual MCU messiness in the last half
He's wearing the same clothes as the Strange who's in the tv spot.
Do you think we get Kang, Loki, and Jeffrey Wright playing as a live action Uatu The Watcher in the movie?
Yeah I kinda wish they got someone a little bit older but I get it. They probably want these new actors to be around for a long ass time.
Honestly, the age thing may not even matter.
The biggest reason I wanted her older is because the swagger and confidence that comics America exudes would come off as petulant from a younger actress.
But it does not seem like that is what they are doing anyway.
Luckily, Loki gave them an out.
