The one in Hanover opened about two months ago and is easily as busy as the one in New Bedford that is always packed. The Market Basket 2 minutes from my house in Plymouth is still the busiest grocery store and it's never not busy. That's going to be rough.
There are (were) 3 locations of the local grocery chain Market Basket on the same road in the same Massachusetts town.
Very popular supermarket. Popular enough to support 3 on a street. The lease ended on the one that closed, they relocated all folks to other local stores. That's all
The one in New Bedford can feel like actual tortureThe one in Hanover opened about two months ago and is easily as busy as the one in New Bedford that is always packed.
The Plymouth one is my favorite.
Literally all the context you need is in the video.
Russillo can do the framing.Open one on Martha's Vineyard. That place has the busiest grocery stores I've been in by far.
remember .87 cents coffee when the pats won? good times
I did deserve this lol; this was relatively amusing I guess.Dictionary.com | Meanings & Definitions of English Words

For real, never even been to Boston, know fuck all about Boston, and never wanted to go to Boston, but this shit is hilarious.
So upset the Boston Market by me closed a few weeks back.
Stop and Shop is unionized which is dope.I miss their 5% discount on everything during that family strife if I'm remembering it correctly.
Sometimes I'll go to the Stop & Shop next door and pay $20 more to avoid the craziness.
I don't. I want to park my car in Harvard yard
say chowder
Hannafords is so overpriced and still not better than just making your own food.its also been a long time since i lived in new england so basically anything that isnt a safeway all kinda blends into one mediocre experience
hannafords is pretty deece though
I went to a dentist appointment at like 11 AM and the parking lot for Market Basket was just as packed as the weekend, seriously, they need that many locations lol.I only do Wegman's but yeah, MA folks fucking love running a brand into the ground with oversaturation lol
Market Basket is okay but I prefer Price chopper, close and cheap. Hated Shaws and the few Park n Shop locations still around are just creepy.
Even as Price Chopper they vary wildly in location. The one in Webster isnt that bad and beats going to Oxford for Market Basket.Their rebrand to Market 52 in my area was awful, and now they have the audacity to charge for shitty small paper bags. Rather shop at Aldi if I'll be forced to pay for bags. (And the prices still aren't better, though their bakery always has an awesome peasant bread.)
I remember going to the one in Somerville for the first time and realizing that I had never actually seen a busy grocery store before now
Pretty much all of East Somerville shops there. It's a great location but my god is it insanity inside.
Market Basket is a beloved grocery store chain. They typically have the best prices, good selection, and treat their employees very well.
I work in Burlington. I live in Woburn. These are literally less than 10 miles from where I live and work.LMAO. I work in Burlington (right next door). There are hundreds of Market Baskets around here.

Mass is weird when it comes to Supermarkets. There is an H-Mart, a Wegman's, a Trader Joes and a Market Basket all within 2 miles on the same road and they are always packed.
For foreign markets, I always liked KrogerShit, that's nothing.
In my area in Virginia we have a Kroger, Publix, Wegman's, Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Aldi, and Lidl, all within a 2 mile stretch on the same road.
IM PUTTING THIS WHOLE TOWN IN MAH REAR VIEW
It is, but the employees are generally nice (treated and trained well) and the food options are better than any other chain.I pay extra money to not shop at Market Basket. I went there once and found it absolutely terrifying. The prices can't be worth it.

Woburn has to be the worst one.
Busiest
Worst parking
Smallest aisles
I can't confirm that's all fact but I believe it is.
I go to Reading's MB which can be dead after 7 Mon thru Wed. Woburn is desperation after work sometimes.Been to the Woburn one and it is nothing compared to the Somerville (Somerville Ave) location.
That's actually hilarious.
