Mann vs Scorsese tomorrow. Do I watch Casino or Heat?

Those are my choices. I haven't seen Heat since a few years after it came out and I've never seen Casino.

What shall I watch?

Heat is a GOAT to me but since you've never seen Casino watch that one. It's not as good as Goodfellas but it's still a fun mob flick with entertaining performances. Plus James Woods plays such a good slimeball (life imitating art I guess)

If you've never seen Casino then that one, but you can't go wrong with either. Pure cinema, both of them. GOATs. Tears in my eyes masterclasses.

I love Casino and I love Heat, so yeah both

If you can only see one, I would vote Casino so you can at least experience it once. The "Can't you hear me knocking" scene is a masterpiece in introducing characters

Casino is my favorite Scorsese film.

The BRoll and second unit footage is fire. Sharon Stone gives the performance of a lifetime. Love love love.

Heat is the one I'd choose. Casino is great but it is a bit slow at times.

Casino, given you've never seen it. I prefer Heat but I'd take the opportunity to watch something new.

A big old cinema in my city specialises in runs of 70s/80s/90s films. They did Heat the other week and it was well worth the admission to finally see it on the big screen.

Heat. Casino is great until the last third which is just DeNiro and Stone screaming at each other.

If you've seen Goodfellas then Heat. If you haven't seen Goodfellas, watch that.

Both are excellent, but Casino is probably the better movie.

Heat has "the" heist scene that basically defined what a good heist scene is for everything that came after.

Pesci's crew shooting up Vegas houses to the tune of Devo's cover of "Satisfaction" is a top 5 Scorsese moment in my book. "Whip It" also sounds great.

If you've never seen Casino, I'd go with that, I watched it for the first time a month or so ago and it's basically a better Goodfellas.

I like Heat more tho.

If you've never seen Casino, go with that. I do prefer Heat, though. However, this is one of those cases where you win no matter what.
