Didn't want to go through the trouble of re-hosting images, but yeah, started a new series called Medalist. I can't recommend it enough.

Monthly chapters kills me for World Trigger :(

Great chapter, setting another probably long arc.

Osamu picking up Katori as someone he didnt want to work with is so gonna come up at some point. They probably picked each other in that survey. I'm guessing Suwa will have them work together since they are 'wire buddies'.

Not only have the last few arcs been fantastic but all of the developments happening during the quieter periods have been amazing. Damn so glad I picked this up. I had the biggest grin on my face while reading 180. So good.

Is this "I'm a Spider, so what?" but with a shark instead?

Who is this random guy on Osamu's team
*Border hands out signature headware*
Oh right, it's Oki.

Some funny comedy bits in this chapter. Osamu and Katori fighting even faster than I thought. Him helping out Hyuse was nice. A Rank going to be watching intently as candidates edit and read emails for 10 more chapters.

As i stands now, Kitora kind of got stuck with one of the least interesting teams. Which is maybe what you want practically for this trial, but hopefully whatever twists in store will shake up their team a bit.

No, it's from the perspective of a summoner and a Satire, but pretty hilarious. I would say more but I don't want to ruin it

yeesh forgot how little memory my old amazon fire had, half it's memory is taken by mystery data and it only had 5 gb to start with! It's slow but it's slightly more comfortable than my phone and the PDFs from the humble bundle work.

Coming-of-Age Art Drama | 9 volumes, ongoing work, licensed in English by Kodansha

In his second to last year of high school, the dispassionate but studious, Yataro Yaguchi finally finds a calling in art. With no prior art experience, he decides to work towards to applying to an art university. A decision with potentially disastrous results. (source)

From Dimple:
Been meaning to read this for an age, finally got round to it yesterday evening after seeing the anime announcement and just WOW.

I could not stop reading this (I would've gone all the way up to the latest volume if my phone hadn't run out of battery) god what a fantastic manga this is, can't remember the last time I found myself so engrossed by a piece of media.

The chapter where Yaguchi attempts his first f-100 canvas was amazing (source)

From Chase:
Most hooked I've been on a series after a first volume in a bit. While a series where a depressed and/or unfulfilled protagonist finds something they are passionate about (in this case art!) isn't something I haven't read before, the execution in the opening chapters of this series is top notch and sold me on it completely. The cheering for sports framing was particularly effective.

I wonder if it is a nightmare to coordinate all the different artists getting their respective pieces in time and complete for an ongoing serialization. Kind of neat that different artists draw the art for different characters though.

Description of art and techniques can get fairly technical, at least to someone who knows nothing like myself, but I found it compelling and some of the techniques are shown of in cool ways.

Looking forward to continuing and hopefully learning more about some of the other characters as well. (source)

Man 194-195... thank you kami sama. We are not worthy.

I'm all caught up and it's been a real blast. I thought the evidol arc would be kind of lame but it was super entertaining. I really love all of the various side characters and how they've all gotten their moments to shine over the last 100 something chapters. I dig the theme of being selfish and pursuing your own desires as its like the opposite of many shonen which is all about team work and putting the group over the individual.

The art and character designs are so damn good. Really looking forward to how the current arc develops as we're finally back to the main story.

why viz taking forever to put BLue Flag volume 7 up ;/

Not sure if you already saw, but I just checked the SJ app and it says new chapters are coming in 3 days! This has been one of my favorite series that I've read in a while, so I'm always very excited to see new chapters pop up. I really want to collect the whole series physically, but the first volume has been out of stock online (Amazon/B&N) for several weeks now. I'm planning on moving soon so trying not to buy any more physical volumes for a little while, but I do hope that by the time I'm settled, all of the volumes are out and in stock so I can add them to my collection!

Yeah, she really does an amazing job with all the cast. Iruma-kun is basically everything I loved about Hitman Reborn, without all the stuff that made me never want to ever read that series again.

What exactly does "sacrifice porn" mean? Because I adore Tokyo Manji Revengers, even if it is rather ridiculous and fantastical for its genre. Though I will admit the second or third time jump is when it really starts to hit its stride.

Blue Box One shot and 1-3
I really liked the one shot even if it developed a bit too fast, the concept of a romance sports manga is interesting
for the actual series tho I think it starts a bit less strong but still very interesting, of course it cant be as fast the one shot but I like that the main premise is the same.

i think honestly i might be at the point where i just read nagatoro if it still makes sense after you skip the first X chapters or whatever when it's still genuinely bullying

I think you probably could and it would make sense? I can't quite remember when that for the most part just went away entirely or degenerated into teasing.

Personally, I'd only really classify the first three chapters as bullying. The rest is mostly teasing/flirting. The story will still make sense if you skip but I still think you should power through and read the first three chapters. They'll give you a good understanding of the MC's character in the beginning and you'll have a better appreciation for how his character develops later on.

When she finds the sketches of her as the catgirl character.

But there's like, a real buildup to that moment too. You can't really just skip it all.

Hmm. I'm not caught up, but I read like half of what is currently available in 2019 and I didn't feel that way. Feels pretty hopeful most of the time. There are losses, but I don't think they're common or bad enough for me to feel like it's "sacrifice porn." No guarantee that I'd say that if I were caught up, though. Also, I love delinquent manga and always have, so I went into it with that mindset.

Don't know if there's another thread to talk One Punch Man. But I gotta say, for the past however many chapters since I've lost track, it's somehow a contradiction of being rad as hell and Berserk boat boring at the same time.

I have to wonder if this will be the arc where Loid finds out. It's always been a weird blindspot for him.
Looks like Yor's got a lot of work ahead of her.

Anya's going to go from trying to get Loid to have fun with her to indirectly leading him to help fight the assassins once she picks up on some of their thoughts, isn't she?

Bit of a slower set-up chapter, but a needed one to set up the conflict for this arc. Looking forward to seeing how this plays out.

A "heroic" pedo at that!
What I will say is at least he didn't go out like a redeemed martyr. Still very shitty and not at all welcome in what has otherwise been an incredible book.
I'm going to be honest, as someone who is up-tp-date with the Manga, I have no idea who you are talking about. Was it something subtly alluded to, or was it obvious and I've just completely forgotten the character altogether and blocked their existence from my memory?

It's Mimori's step brother, Hirotoshi, who is introduced as having a big obsession with "little sister" tropes in media (I believe his room is decorated with tons of little sister anime/manga stuff) and immediately becomes overprotective of Mimori when their parents marry. The charitable take is that he just always wanted a little sister, but there's some stuff that really straddles the line in an uncomfortable way (the example that comes to mind is when Mimori falls over and her skirt lifts up, Hirotoshi's reaction could be interpreted as excitement).

Haha

I knew it was going to be sad but I didn't expect it to destroy me like that.
Very few series have ruined me emotionally as much as My Broken Marika did. I can possibly only think of two others. Still, it is a series I'll always recommend, even if you do have to be in the right state of mind to struggle through it.

What exactly does "sacrifice porn" mean?

"Loser" MC being tasked with a burden to save people around them while they generally take lots of physical and emotional damage but in a way that makes them look cool and admirable to the reader and often the other characters in the story. Shounen protagonists often have an element of this but it's usually not extreme enough for my to call it "sacrifice porn," but that was the very first thing to come to mind with Tokyo Revengers.

Yeah, the series is 300% that
