Like I said earlier today. It is utterly irresponsible and frankly dangerous that the vote counts have gone on this long. Every moment that they go on is another moment Trump and right wing extremists are using to galvanize their bases for a physical fight.
Reguardless of what happens. These stats must be forced to update their laws to allow precounting ballots so this never happens in the future.

Where I live they record ballots when they arrive so they probably know what's there and what hasn't been counted yet. Of course it would probably require a lawsuit to let people resubmit their ballots and I don't trust the courts to save them.
That's a distinction without a difference and we've been doing this shit for decades now. Just because some right wingers are smart enough to avoid aligning themselves too closely to someone who becomes unpopular and/or is about to lose an election, doesn't mean they're not crazy
Trump right wingers want a hardcore authoritarian relitous state. Other right wingers, the ones who publicly scoff at the notion that that would happen don't necessarily have it as a priority but if it happened would shrug their shoulders and say it's still preferable to "socialism." That's the game. You avoid being crazy out loud until conditions allow you to do it knowing there won't be any blowback or stigma.
PS: if you're one of those on the left who has been compelled by ProjectLincoln and all the rest of those fucking assholes who are responsible for getting us here: just stop. They're not allies.

Jesus, can we stop with the hard-on for TLP? It's old, played out, and hardly a gotcha. I don't think it's controversial to say not all right-wingers are willing to try to blow up a voting center, regardless of how much I disagree with their views.
Yeah it's ridiculous and crazy they've allowed for counting to take this long after the election, it's perfect for Trump to incite violence.
It always takes a long time to fully count the vote, the only difference this time is that the republican response to covid made the absentee ballots deeply partisan. And the fact so many states are so close, of course.
