I can't wait until February 2021 when these geniuses try to find news sites that don't push the leftist propaganda that Joe Biden is president.
Maybe OANN will never acknowledge it and just refer to Trump as president til he dies.
A guy I used to work with leaned way left, but loved few things more than hearing about how awful the US was.
Russia Today, "RT", was music to his ears.
He kept trying to get me to watch it and I was like... "You know that's state propaganda, right?".
Stuff he saw there led him down some rabbit holes, with Russia Today as his baseline "truth" to compare them against.
Seven years later he's gone so far to the right that none of the video-based news companies are conservative enough for him. His brainwashing has been so thorough that any criticism of the US sends him into a violent rage.

I don't doubt it but I lived most of my life in California and never saw it there despite living in some red counties. The Republicans I knew just accepted that the state would go blue despite their votes. It wasn't until I moved to Washington did I see this sentiment out in broad daylight.
It's amazing that these MAGA types reacted way worse on their election loss than the left that they mocked in 2016. Disowning democracy, crying about their cult leader , and generally just showing that they were either absent or never learned anything from civics classes. It's a good argument against direct democracy .

The 2016 reactions were pretty nasty (hence a big rise in "SJWs owned/liberal tears compilations" on YouTube), but left-leaning people moved on and focused on their lives as well as other elections that could change the tides (which 2018 did and 2020 kind of did).
These people are way saltier and angrier, they may just give up on the political process period. Wouldn't be a huge loss since they'll stop trying to shoot themselves in the foot at least.
You know, people love to dismiss the horseshoe theory, but I've watched several people-- friends of friends-- on social media go from far left to brainwashed maga cultist from 2016 to now. I keep tabs on them out of a kind of sick fascination and I'm just flabbergasted that these formerly supposedly leftist folks are all in on right wing conspiracy theories, covid denialism and celebrating Trump. It's a thing and it's fucking horrifying.
Absolutely, but I'm not really surprised. These are the same dorks who go to rallies and drape themselves in Trump flags. They can't do anything normal, everything has to be cranked up to 11.
These people were gaging based on YouTube views, rally sizes and all that. This is why they were certain of a landslide.
They are melting down in part because the metrics they used proved to be unreliable and not believing in the polls in 2016 was a false positive
Yep. Happens in Colorado with Denver and Boulder, Michigan with Detroit, Flint and Ann Arbor, Ohio with Columbus and Cleveland (and Toledo to a lesser regional extent). It's pretty common.
I think a lot of Cali Trumpers thought because it wasn't umcommon to see Trump car parades that most of the state was going to vote for Trump. It was really just a loud mouthed minority that hyped themselves up. It's over now thankfully.

This is one of the most annoying elements of the Q/Trump cult. Why the fuck is Trump communicating in fucking numbers and cyphers if he's the leader of the free world? What exactly do these people think he's gained from making his election results an Ovaltine code? He still lost. History books aren't going to put in "But Trump got in the last word in the end because if you read his new phone number it says 'Trump actually has a big dick' after being converted using Katakana." A lot of the memeing that you're seeing from the left after this is taking those that the right have used in recent years and modifying them slightly to highlight how they were always exactly who they whined about. You can also see that with the art of Pepe hooked up on a copium tank.
I know that but Pepe is not a real person so there's no harm there. That lady is real and afaik she's not a trumper so it sucks that she's used to mock the trumpers, ironically or not.
