A Playstation gamer's foray into Xbox (via GamePass) continues. I've completed Gears 4, Halo 5, and Quantum Break since I got my Series X and now I'm tackling Ryse: Son of Rome.
I don't know if these games are just catching me in the right frame of mind but again I am enjoying it and my early impressions are that the game is underrated relative to the general consensus in the gaming community (similar to Quantum Break). Then again I like history and I liked the old Assassin's creed combat which this seems to be inspired by. The game is gorgeous especially considering that it was an Xbox One launch game. It seems like it was a great launch showpiece with straightforward accessible gameplay, high production values and great visuals.
Anybody else playing Ryse for the first time?
