    I have a pre-typed (gasp, quelle horreur) - pretty obvious we weren't going anywhere overnight with attention on us so figured I'd do a little over the night phase. I also won't be here for a bit after start of day because I'll be at a friend's farewell party before she moves back to Poland and I have a sad.

    Fake edit: had to remove my question to Fando. He had such a weird EoD that I'm real surprised at that kill. Like I get trying to be under the radar but they would surely get some heat so why them?

    People I want to hear from about EoD:

    donna & rac - why did you stay on Bae & malus?

    B-Dubs I assume didn't vote because he was out. (But I think we all need to see some play from Dubs this phase).

    feps - no vote? Especially since you were fairly liberal with votes throughout the phase without doing much else.

    Vincent Alexander - no vote? You moved off the claimed pair but didn't revote. Also: did you miss that Tybro said they weren't likely to be around for EoD?

    Which does beg the question of why TyBro hadn't voted earlier. AbBro put down a small vote, but Ty's absence plus lack of vote is concerning, though I'm not sure it's AI here. I'm not seeing as many similarities to HoH play as others but I only specced a little. I do know Ty can be similarly quiet as town. I am certainly curious as to why Sorian was SO convinced they were absolutely town, though. Even to the point of trying to cut a deal with Brazil:

I know you were arguing about 999 and why sometimes a no kill is preferable, but why here? What benefit would a tie have been to town? (I have some ideas about you here with this but I want to hear FROM you first). Though I'm honestly more interested in you speaking more about the game state and player behavior today than focusing on mechanics and abstract concepts.

    Reki wasn't entirely convinced on Ty, so it would be a badlook to throw a vote there, but wasn't sure where else to put it. I said in our chat to hold off on voting until there was a threat of a tie.

    The push at day end for kitslor was not natural. After Bae's hints there was a clear impetus for people to move their votes to other scumreads, but instead we saw Sorian pull the fire alarm and suddenly completely walk back a scumread he had on Tybro and started urging people to move their votes. It was 10-5 in favor of Tybro at the time, and then suddenly we see Tybro, Sorian, Vere/Apollo, and Fanto/Zipped all stack their votes (with kyan coming in late to try and avoid a tie). Ty's play was a mirror of his scum game just last game. He was saved at day and, likely by other scum as well.

    Based on our chat, I'm thinking Rac wasn't around EoD, or much of yesterday. I told him I wasn't comfortable leaving my vote on Bae with the role claim, but never heard a response one way or the other. As for me and my no vote...I couldn't make up my mind who to vote. It's easy for me to say this now, and there is no proof one way or other for all of you, but by EoD I felt that Kits and Kalor weren't scum. I'd rather put no vote down then vote on town. I was focused on Absolut/Ty though and hoping they would get more votes, but didn't want to place a vote there when things were tight in fear of causing a tie. Then it became clear my vote wouldn't matter one way or other by the end, so...I just left it a note vote :/

    Yeah. I'm afraid this is going to take up way more focus than it should today in my brain, but why on earth wouldn't scum go after someone who made a soft role claim like Bae did? The simple answer could be that's it's a calculated move to make town read her as scum and hope we lunch her ourselves. Or it's because...she is scum. So, I have no clue where the fuck to go with that. I could go in circles.

    I'm sad that we lost a townie, but I'm also pretty disappointed that they were taken out before they could use their power. It could have been decisive, it could have backfired, but it would have certainly been interesting.

    I can only presume that scum was wary of a doctor or something, since Fran and Fandorin seems like a strange choice, particularly with Pirate Bae and Malus's soft claim.
