Oh, I didn't know this was added later. Yeah, it seems pretty obvious cafe, paintings and vegetables are indeed coming. Since they mistakenly added some references to them too early, I now think they could come in the April update.
I would also love diving.
Leif, Redd, Brewster and Pascal are also among my fav npc.

Yeah, I get what you were going for but you definitely missed posts that were already saying it was from an update, hah.
It doesn't really surprise me that some dialogue might sneak in before the relevant content gets added, especially with them doing extra updates to fix things. If they only got added in 1.13 or 1.14 as was said on the first page, those were just the unplanned updates for fixing the issue with balloons not spawning after you pop 300 and for adjusting the egg rates. It may have just been easier to leave the new dialogue in while putting out these quick fixes than to fiddle with specifically removing them, and so on. Though it does feel weird to have the villagers refer to nonexistent places, obviously.
(But maybe they were just taking a plane to go get some coffee, you could say...)
As a new AC fan, I'm just delighted to see the possibility of more buildings and similar content. I'm sure the returning characters will prove wonderful, too!
Resetti flying a plane is some Dugtrio standing up level bullshit.
This actually got me to carve out a path to that secret beach. Though it's sadly right next to my older sister's house, so I'm not sure how she'll feel about that.
Glad it seems like a lot of the stuff that is missing in New Horizons is seemingly coming back, along with some new stuff. Excited to see what other stuff gets added to this game over time.

I've seen some animals talk about cooking stuff. I figured it was flavor text. Could it have been a bug?

Every time they hit me with the unnessary text box where he's like "I'm tempted to buy them... but no I mustn't!" it's like but why.
Oh yeah, I think it's probably been planned to have large-scale updates periodically since the planning stages. Certainly not something they decided last year or anything.

So happy if the Dream Suite came back. People are making amazing islands and I want to visit them all.
Dream Suite in this game could be so good, with all of the customization that NH allows for islands now. I could see myself spending a lot of time just hopping into random islands. Could also be a reason Savannah returned but not Wendell, maybe he'll reprise his role giving out custom designs in dreams.

Because you cam have 18 houses total, plus the two shops musrum campsite and resident services, ends up being a lot of spCe
Dream Suite shouldn't be a physical location but somewhere you "go" if you lay down on a bed and choose to go to sleep. But they probably won't do that.
There's nothing that seems to indicate that would be coming. A lot of the features that seem to be on the way already had space reserved in the save file, but the island itself seems to be all we get so far.
That doesn't mean it's not happening, this is a brave new world with no real precedents at all... just probably not yet.
