What system could they fathom that would benefit republicans more? The electoral college margins for victory overall are razor thin with built-in disenfranchisement and only 2 major parties. 20-50k votes here and there and things could look a lot different. So I think Republicans are perfectly happy with the EC.

All it takes is for a charismatic Republican candidate for the GOP to rally around. The Trump turnout was actually scarily high.

Its quite easy actually. We have straight ticket voting so all one has to do is pick red or blue, then click confirm and thats it. You literally don't have to think about it beyond what team you want to vote for if you don't want to.
