I just thought of the best licensed game they could make. Make a game in a school with toms of well defined characters, and the game can let you hang out with all of them. Make it take place over a year. Add some dungeons around the school that the heroes have to explore and some mysteries to solve...

Give Atlus the Harry Potter license and tell them to make a Persona clone.

Now that the Sharknado craze is officially over, it's a shame we never got a bonkers game out of it. Just imagine an over-the-top arcade open world game where you have to survive as sharknados, cownados, bouldernados, lavanados and whatnot hit you, while on the ground you could be battling with other B-movie monsters like Lavalantula. A shame that only low effort mobile games came out of it, but to be fair the budget required to make a decent game from this idea probably far surpasses the money they ever spent on making the movies themselves (including marketing and the cameos like Fabio, David Hasselhoff, Jedward, George R.R. Martin, Chris Jericho, etc.).

Star Trek: 24th Century

An expansive "open galaxy" RPG set in the Star Trek universe during the latter decades of its 24th century, which was the setting for TNG/DS9/Voyager. Its tail end will also feature as the backdrop for Star Trek: Picard early next year.

Nintendo Vs. Shonen Jump. I've often said Nintendo and Shonen Jump, combined, make up about 70% of the most globally iconic and popular Japanese characters. Obviously would never happen, but it would be gamechanging.

A few years ago, I really wanted an Arkham City/Arkham Knight/Spiderman style Arrowverse game with the TV versions of Green Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl. The flash running around a city could be great.

I've gone of that world a bit recently but It could be fun.

Years ago I thought about a Battlefield 1942 mod t have old school Colonial Warriors verses Cylons in a Battlefield Galactica style game (this was pre reboot)

Also, a team based FPS game pitting the soldiers of UNIT against Doctor Who enemies like Daleks, Cybermen, Zygons, etc

I want scooby doo so bad :( thinking maybe something like until dawn.
Can you imagine somehow playing through a classic Scooby Doo opening song?

That's what dreams are made of friend.

But yeah, my answer is forever a Kino's Journey game by Team Ico, which is basically Shadow of the Colossus, but instead of boss battles with giants, it's isolated towns all wrapped up in their own shit to discover.

The six Sharknado movies had a budget ranging from 2 to 5 mil to make and they someone all made bank for them. Which is strange seeing they're all rated so low.

Inception for PS4/Xbox One/PC. Not sure of the concept or even what you do, but I guess have it be a third person shooter a la 007 Blood Stone or Uncharted but with elements of Psychonauts. To be cheap and not hire Leonardo DiCaprio, you play a new character (probably voiced by Troy Baker) who has to enter the dreams of someone to extract something.

It's not that strange. All movies are/were on various streaming services (Netflix and Prime Video at the very least), they were sold to TVs all across the globe, and they had a following. They were not good movies by any means, and as such they flew over critics' heads, but there were legitimately people like me who'd tune in every year to see how far they'd up the insanity. The acting, the storyline, the CGI were all tied to budget but also intentionally not "fixed" to keep that legit B-movie feel even with budgets that do exceed most B-movies' money reserve. They live off relatively few dedicated fans and the memes.

It's not entirely unlike the horror movie scene, with some franchises still managing to get low quality sequels decades later. Slap together a low effort movie with a million or two, nostalgia and brand recognition alone will sell it enough to horror fans to guarantee revenue. The 5th Sharknado did, however, disappoint many so they had to dial back on some of the future ideas and condense them into a single movie, the 6th and final one, which indeed felt rushed in some ways because of that.

- a Mission Impossible game made by Naughty Dog.
- a Blade game (unsure what dev I'd give it to though)
- a Ghost in the Shell (taking stuff from both SAC & Arise, but doing its own continuity like Spider-Man on PS4 does. Unsure which dev I'd give this to though)
- a Blade Runner game set in between the first & second films. Ideally with multiple protagonists (one a BR, one a replicant). Maybe by Eidos?
- a TRON: LEGACY era game seen as it feels like we will never get a sequel (unsure what dev I'd give it to though).

Made in Abyss Metroidvania. Something where you descend into more and more dangerous and weird levels of the Abyss.
Bonus points if it's a Made in Abyss Roguelike with lots of deaths.

- Made in Abyss is a Manga series about a mysterious hole in the ground that is extremely difficult and dangerous to explore. No idea how this isn't tackled as a game yet:

Aha, didn't know they were streaming platforms as well, assumed they were mostly just DVD/Bluray releases.

Still want my Jurassic Park or The Thing by creative assembly in the vein of Alien Isolation
Yea, it's pretty annoying that not even the Jurassic Park/World license get's used for an action/adventure video game.

I always wanted a WWF beat em up game from Capcom. Hell, they already had the character model for Andre the Giant(from Final Fight).

Imagine Hulk Hogan(pre-racism), Macho Man Randy Savage and Brutus the Fucking Barber Beefcake teaming up to stop the diabolical Million Dollar Man from buying The Presidency. Featuring boss fight appearances by: Big Boss Man, Ravishing Rick Rude and Jake the Snake Roberts(with Bobby Henan popping up in the corner of the screen taunting you, Toasty! style).

Any popular anime, just stop making them fighting games. Fairy Tail and Dragon Ball Kakarot releasing as RPGs gives me hope that devs are finally moving away from that.

Demon Slayer as an action game would be neat. The show has all those flashy moves that would go well with a Platinum-style combat system.

Stargate SG1 The Alliance gets dug up, remade, finished and released.

That was the first ever game I had internet hype for. I joined my first ever game forum in excitement for this game and is the first game I ever followed from announcement to......unfortunately cancellation. But I desperately want that last word to be changed to release.

My heart was broken when it got cancelled. No game cancellation has ever hit me like that. You dont know how excited I was for this game. Absolutely loved the show at the time. Please give me my Stargate game. Please.

KOTOR3 =(

And I know, SWTOR is very story driven etc. But when you force MMO design into a single player focused game without thinking about whether it actually works, you end up with players waiting around for quest objectives to respawn because some other dick on the same exact mission who you have to pretend isn't actually here because the quest giver says you're the only person helping him just activated that quest object and now it's vanished before your eyes. Let's hope it respawns before all the mobs do. I mean **** me, devs. Did your leads not think any of this game design through!? When being a contrived MMO actively detracts from the game quality...

Hoping Fallen Order is finally the quality single player Star Wars game I've been missing since KOTOR2 =)

- A Harry Potter first-person shooter
- An Adventure Time 1VS1 fighter in the style of Darkstalkers
- A Hilda action-adventure
- A Stranger Things survival horror
- A John Wick third-person shooter by Rockstar Games or Remedy

That's all for me, thanks.

Bionicle Action RPG, elemental powers, masks and armour that affect or give different abilities, different chaarcters that can be recruited to your party, some hub locations filled with interesting side quests and characters on the way to main quests, cool lore. Basically Dragon Age or Mass effect but instead of a Tolkien-esque medi-evil fantasy setting you have biomechanical science fantasy mixed with Polynesian mythology (though inquisition had a dlc set somewhere that when I got there was very reminiscent of Karda Nui).

I've been wanting a Star Trek: Mass Effect with expansive dialogue trees ever since ME was announced 12 years ago. Just imagine the possibilities.

Open world Terminator. It's been a few decades. I'd even be happy with Bethesda having another go and just using the Fallout engine.

A Terminator horror game, not unlike Alien: Isolation, where you're constantly pursued by a T-1000 in present day. You've got no means to defend yourself in a direct attack, no way to identify it without sufficiently analyzing clues for yourself (the game would not tell you if you were correct in your assumption or not), and the few resources you have access to can easily be eliminated or impersonated by your pursuer. Oh, and the Resistance isn't going to send Kyle Reese or a reprogrammed T-850 back in time to protect you; you're not Sarah or John Connor, you're just someone Skynet figured would be a liability in the future.

Frame it like an adventure game, such as the 1999 Blade Runner game, where anyone (including you) could be a human or replicant when you start a new game. At the start, any major NPC could potentially already be dead, now impersonated by the T-1000, and you have no way of knowing. People could begin to die off as it closes in on you, but if it's taken out too many allies and limited your access to means of self-defense, fighting back becomes impractical, if not impossible.

I kind of want a Fate/Stay universe game TP action type game. Love the lore of the series itself, some great characters even if I don't think much of the dialogue and think it's got potential.

I think it would be pretty cool to have a game revolve around a comic Saga.
