Haha, yeah. I'm still often in awe of the picture quality, but that 4k@120hz with gsync..

Can someone explain to me why Samsung is planning to re-enter the OLED market in the next two years? I keep reading about their re-entrance into the OLED TV market. And how MicroLED isn't that far away. Something isn't adding up here. Why would they re-enter the OLED market if MicroLED is so close to market?
SED flashbacks? I remember this was the wonder tech of forever. And it never amounted to anything. This is why, when I see a recent article stating Samsung is shutting down an LCD factory to start making OLEDs there, it makes me question things. We've been teased a lot of "perfect" tvs in the days since LCD slaughtered CRT. MicroLED just seems too perfect. There has to be a catch.
Okay. Now this makes sense. I googled a bit after I posted that comment and I've seen that Samsung really lost a ton of market share to LG after they abandoned OLED the first time (especially the premium market). It makes sense to have a fallback option and that MicroLED, actually isn't the sure thing people are making it out to be.
My guess, is that they are not going to include DP as they need SOMETHING to distinguish between these TVs, and the Gaming OLED monitors that are being introduced at CES As well. Since they are making Panels for both products, DP and no HDMI 2.1 are really the only difference between these TVs and those Monitors.
The prices fall fast. I got a 55 inch C8 in 2018 for $1499 in August. Last year there were deals for the 65 inch model that low.
Do we have our official "Get this TV for PS5" TV yet, as voted by consensus?

Same here but there's regional difference when it comes to patches.
We don't have full specs for anything yet, but I think a lot of people will say the C9 and CX
By disabling certain post-processing effects (such as motion smoothing, noise reduction and sharpening) while perfectly preserving correct aspect ratios, colors and frame rates, LG OLED TVs with the Filmmaker Mode faithfully replicate the original vision of the director.
What's the difference between those two?
I've got a C8 currently. Almost got the C9 but decided to wait it out for 2020's sets. C9 will probably be dirt cheap by then but I wouldn't mind shelling it out for a significant upgrade.
Well that's the thing, becaus Nvidia published a tweet today calling these displays BFGD's like the others...so, maybe?
Wait so the C9 doesn't? As someone who games on an Xbox One X and plans on getting a Series X soonish after launch, should I be eyeing the CX instead of the C9?

So now that the BX has the same processor as the CX, the B-line is back to being just as good, albeit with a more basic design? Or will there be other differences in brightness, inputs or something?
Hmm so bx will use same as c9? Which should i get.Where are you getting that? The article I read said they all used the same processor except for the BX, which used an older processor.
The BX is going to use a 3rd gen a7 processor the C9 had a 2nd gen a9 processor. The CX will have a 3rd gen a9.
My bad, I misread. Probably saw gen3 on both and figured it was the same, didn't notice the a7 vs a9.Where are you getting that? The article I read said they all used the same processor except for the BX, which used an older processor.
Can confirm! Hoping it will last for a long time but I'm going to have to move it at some point which I'm terrified about.
What do you think about the claims made here?
I've never noticed the blacks on my C9 being anything other than black and he's claiming brighter HDR and more saturated colours etc, all seems hard to believe.

See if the browser can play back the video hereAre there any streaming platforms or sites that have 4k/120 video? I'd be curious to see what 120fps looks like, since motion on my C9 is my only quibble.

That was my first exposure to 120 fps when I first got a 120hz monitor and it blew me away. Only 1080p though
I don't think the service supports 120 fps.Wait, I never really thought about it, but youtube doesnt support native 120fps videos?
