Unless LG lied so can the C9.C9 already has HDMI 2.1. There will likely be incremental upgrades, such as it looks like these can do 4K 120Hz where as the C9 can only do 1440p at 120Hz.
I feel this way about my B7 sometimes... then I look at it.

Actually, the C9 is fully capable of 4K/120Hz, as per the HDMI 2.1 spec.
Unless LG lied so can the C9.

There's just no devices currently available because it requires HDMI 2.1.

If it's up to me I'm going for the C9 this year. I can't afford a just released OLED whereas a older one are much better affordable.
Smart move there is nothing these new ones offer that the C9 doesnt in regard to framerate, resolution, gsync, and VRR. LG has already said that the C9 supports 4K 120 hz from a 2.1 source.
Sweet! And peak brightness? There's a chance it will be slightly better on the X series?
So the B is just slower than C?the CX 65" is tempting for a next gen TV (will wait for prices though). The BX maybe the better buy though as don't really use the installed OS stuff.
All I ultimately need is 4K/120Hz, & it seems like the C9 does just that. Thankfully these new models will likely drive down the price of the C9.Doesn't seem like any real discernible improvements from the C9 line.
C series is not cheap. 48" will most likely cost double of that at launch, and maybe around $1K when on clearance in late spring/early summer of 2021.What are the chances of the 48" OLED being $800.
I'd jump in at that price
This is what I want to know. I picked up a 65" C9 for $1,599 earlier this year so I feel like I did well.so what exactly is the difference between 2020 version and the 2019 C9?
I've never seen their premium lines drop that much lol. Even a new B7 can't be bought for that new at $55. Unless you're referring to the 48" which I guess there's a small possibility. No pun intended.TVs fall in price so quickly. You might as well wait for Black Friday 2022 and snag these for $700.
Wasn't it rumored that LG would introduce their new improved OLED panels this year? I don't see it mentioned.
