1) nandos peri chips (chunky fries) - the peri salt lifts them so much it's amazing
2) nandos garlic bread
Obv had better at resturants, but they're the best chain garlic bread imo.

I went with fries but for me it's a clear toss up between that, fried zucchini or onion rings.

Never heard of but kinda went with the most common ones out there. I love myself fried pickles but i have never seen it in my country.
Wings are a common side order i think, at least at McD, Burger King etc.
I consider a few of those 'appetizers' -- moz sticks, poppers, wings -- not quite a side order. Fries, though, fit. I like them all, but fries are the most versatile.
In the US? I've never seen wings as a side. As an appetizer, sure. As a meal itself, absolutely. They don't even have wings at McDs or BK.

You lumped them all together but my immediate response before clicking into the thread was "curly fries" so fries.
Really weird poll choices. No mashed potatoes? Baked potato? Celery? Carrots? Mac n cheese? Asparagus?
I didn't think anyone over age 10 liked tater tots or mozzarella sticks.
Regardless, fries are the clear winner. Not only are they tasty, but they go well with so many different foods.

Fries, hopefully with all the variations of them (sweet potato fries, different spices, thick fries, french fries)
I don't really see Mozz sticks or wings as sides so it's hard for me to go with that. I feel like fries are great because they can be good on their own, can be complimented by dipping sauces, are versatile enough to go on burgers or in milk shakes, and can have toppings that make them fantastic on their own. Plus, there's something comforting about ordering fries and not worrying about if you only eat half of them because hey, they are just fries.
Sweet potato fries and it's not even a contest. By putting them with other fries then other options never had a chance.
Mozarella sticks. A good batch of fries is a close second but they are fucked up way too much from any food joint to be considered the goat.
