It seems fake, but I'll assume for a second that everything is real.

Wouldn't the inverstors be more interested that the legacy of the company be preserved, instead of this whole shit-show happening? Also, it seems that the whole part of insides, city life and combat was never intended on being in the game.

If that was the case, they should never ever showed that 50 min demo from 2018, it did a heavy disservice for the actual game.
