If we are in this PS5 line, and with it getting delayed, holding us in longer, then delayed, and finally OUT OF STOCK! That will be one of the worst ps5 experiences yet! Its crazy lol.
I'm going to guess it has something to do with their Membership Sign Up links being fucked. If you just Google 'Meijer Create Membership' I can finally get it to load on two different links but once I get to the end it just spins non-stop. Though it does say that my e-mail has been taken when I tried it a 2nd time, but who knows.
i think they are pushing it back because the website is fucking broken. I literally cannot access any normal page on the meijer website.

The one where people see 161,000 waiting or so..........does. Those are the ones breaking the site.
This, after I asked the people in their electronics/gaming section several times over the past few weeks about the console and they've said they weren't going to be selling them since it's online only. So I gave up only to find myself here and now in a second queue that will ultimately end in disappointment lol.

lol, they just started doing local delivery a month or so ago here (I think) - Not counting Shipt.
Their system definitely isn't set up for deliveries outside the area at least, and many of their locations haven't even got the pick-up order system in place yet.
I worked as a cashier at Meijer back during the PS2 release. What a shitshow that was. They changed their plan multiple times in the same day. I was really annoyed, because I had to work the overnight shift and therefore wasn't able to try getting one when they officially allowed them to be sold at 12:01am. Instead, I got to be the lone cashier who rang everyone who got one up.
This feels like that meme where December 31st, 2020 11:59 PM becomes December 31st, 2020 11:60 PM.
I hope they delay it until 5am for local pickup—literally feels like this could be my last chance

I bet they keep pushing this back cause their website and app are so screwed up. Many pages saying "WE ARE UPDATING" or you get 504s and stuff. I dont think they are going to let people finally in when their infrastructure is so messed up right now where you cant even login to your account or update any of your account information or anything if you do get in.
