They aren't selling them directly. If you get one, you have to order it online tonight at midnight.
Each Walmart near me shows 6+ XSX and PS5s For tonight.
Bizarre to me that people would waste their thanksgiving day camping out Gamestop. I could understand the latter part of today doing it, but some people started camping out yesterday, is getting a PS5 really worth missing the holiday.
Not yet. And no Target near me has shown any inventory for a week now. Hopefully they're hiding it.
For many people thanks to Covid, there was no holiday regardless.
Yeah, all we know is there's more online stock on Friday. We don't know the time, so it could be 5:00 in the morning again.

I mean, not all of us have family gatherings to go to unfortunately. And even for those who do, this year they're likely cancelled. I had a frozen Jack's pizza from a gas station for dinner.
Nobody's sure about anything. There was an ad showing that yesterday's drop was at 9. Today both consoles say sold out.
They probably don't want people flooding their site with whatever this next thing is.
They're not programing bots, they're either buying the bot software for like $900 or are part of a network with someone else who's programing bots.
This probably wouldn't be so big of a problem if every scalper had to program their own bot.
I feel for you. I have a friend that is quarantine and he had some canned soup for dinner tonight. My usual Turkey Day was totally different this year. Just had my friends parents over and my wife and I. Usually it is a big group of 10-12 people. Good luck to any of you in-line or trying to get a Xbox of PS5 on-line.
Went by one of the local GameStops around 7. There are already like 6-10 people out front.

Went by Gamestop around 6 and there was around 12 or more people in line. Small city

I got mine the Tuesday after the week it shipped. Tracking didn't update it just showed up
Yikes. Unfortunately I think someone is going to get hurt at one of these stores in the morning.
I'll check to see if they go up at 12am EST, if not then I'll get a few hours of sleep and try locally at 5am.

I don't think anyone knows. This is one of those sales that could go either way, either it happens or it doesn't.
I say that if it's happening, you're best off just staying up.
But Best Buy could also be doing one and we knows when that'll go up.

Yeah, I have a Series X reserved for pickup at Best Buy. Trying to get one locally as Best Buy is 40 miles away. If I can't get one locally then looks like I will have to travel there to pick it up tomorrow.
There are two campers already in my GameStop area and the minimum is two. I decline to attend
Going off a stock website, all the GameStops in the Valley only have literally 2 PS5s in stock, and I assume they all already got people camping out :/ otherwise I'd be down.

Reports of security guards attempting to "secure spots" for $300 for two PS5s at a nearby GameStop. The guards managed to get police to stop people from parking at that lot until 5am, at which point, presumably, the hustle occurs and everybody else is fucked.
Definitely gonna report that soon.
Meanwhile, my chosen store has zero PS5s but six XSX. I remain first in line. We've done a steady, decent job of convincing folks not to bother waiting now; especially for a PS5. Still, we do have a couple of people already who just... don't believe me, so hey.
