I hate them, but they're not the problem. Commercial and Cargo are. There are so few private jets and they burn less fuel.

I always assumed that question was for the benefit of the viewer.
Like, yeah, Larry knows that, but will every viewer now that? I assumed interviewer questions are more for people watching the interview.

The video cut off before seeing Larry Kings reaction so I have no idea if he was joking or being an out of touch rich guy.
Whether Larry is joking or out-of-touch isn't the point. The point of the clip is the delivery of Pudi's final line but, unfortunately, it's ruined a bit by the OP tweets that give away the punchline.
It's clearly just a light hearted bit of exaggeration considering we went from socks and coffee to that.
Tennant's great, but being the lead on a BBC series fifteen years ago does not give you private plane clout. He's very deliberately stuck to TV projects rather than going Hollywood for that specific reason.

So just as a heads up, larry recently had a stroke... The comments about larry sounding bored or videos of him struggling with basic words are a bit in poor taste no?
Honestly can't even make fun of him for some of those. There's stuff there that I just never buy and I had no idea what they cost at all lol
I didn't know about the stroke, but in fairness that interview took place in 2018 which was a year before he had it.
Larry King continues to platform and normalize Dave Rubin, but at least we have this:
