it generally hits other places after some time. it depends tho. Stranglehold has yet to get to steam.When GOG helps with these patches for old game does that include exclusivity to sell it only on GOG? If not, I would assume they'd want to sell their stuff on Steam and everywhere else?

Not at release, but they were apparently fixed with fan patches over the years. There's a chance that GOG will be using these patches to fix the games, as they are open-source.

They don't touch source code almost never, they usually pack in with their installer community made fixes that they tried and tested that work.I remember reading somewhere that GOG actively reworks the source code of old games to make them work better on w10. Is that still the case? Can we expect improvements (higher resolutions, better effects) or bugfixes?
