Same shit, different day. Louisville will burn tonight and people will blame looters and rioters instead of solving the issue of police brutality.
Then we're going to be hit with "they should protest PEACEFULLY" when they've been shitting on the NBA and NFL players who have done so for the past few months

yeah, these charges basically read that "they were in their right" to blast away on whomever was in that apartment building, just don't go around "accidentally" shooting through walls into other apartments.

So I take it the neighboring apartments are occupied by white folk? This is some insulting bullshit and the cops are probably laughing about it right now.

The specifics of this are actually disgusting. The wanton endangerment is for firing shots that missed the house, and nothing else mattered.

"We are hereby charging Sgt. Goodguy Whiteman with committing 3rd degree oopsie-poopsie in the course of bravely enforcing very fair good laws to stop very mean bad people."

Society gets the riots it deserves.

How do you not even get manslaughter charges?
Problem is Kentucky law...laws need to fucking change. This is honestly the best that could have been hoped for and find any jail time for any of the cops.

This by no means is justice. And by no means should people be happy with this. The cops should be rotting in a jail for the rest of their life.

And that's the endgame. Daniel Cameron KNOWS shit is going to go south, which is why he's making such a big deal of this. It turns him into a martyr, and makes him look far better when he takes on Andy Beshear in 2023 (which pretty much everyone agrees he's the front-runner).

Nah. He's going to replace McConnell when that fuck finally croaks.

Yep, we need to get reformers elected. If you can't charge people with murder when they murder some one, you need to change the laws.

The obvious problem in Louisville is that we're bound by the KRS which are written largely by rural (Republican) representatives.

This is nothing. It might actually be worse than bringing no charges because these charges just highlight the lives that should've actually been considered were anyone's but Taylor's.

I expected nothing from McConnell's protege anyway but these charges are insulting by design.

Yeah you can't tell me they wanted this to happen. This is disgraceful. They want people to protest and they want people to riot rightfully so. They wanna use this as a means of talking about "law and order". Fuck that man... cant have law and order of people like Breonna can't even get justice she deserves.

Honestly, thread title should be updated since this doesn't actually have to do with Taylor's murder or her case.

Repubs keep winning, Dems keep losing.

It looks like if people want justice, they will have to find it themselves. Unfortunately most people are cowards these days.
