Love the new Everglow song. I'm a sucker for that 80s esque sound tho ala Dua Lipa and The Weeknd's albums this year.
La Di Da is a much subtler bop than Dun Dun Dun which I easily adored at first listen. Thankfully La Di Da also grew a lot on me and I now love it a lot after several listens. It's a very solid bop, not as good as Dun Dun Dun, but pretty damn great, and I appreciate the change of musical style, it feels fresh, even though it also feels very Dua Lipa-esque.
Oh well. I'll pay more attention next time.

They are consistent and make trendy tracks but that songs like Bon Bon are more like flukes. Though some of the songs in the middle of their new mini goes a bit more against the mainstream grain.
I actually want more overt autotune from them as it gives them a stronger identity where a lot of the autotune is just there to clean up vocals. I think that's partially why I and many where so taken by Bon Bon Chocolat, quite bold as a creative choice.

yeah, im pretty sure that was me. i was obviously envisioning a stop in the npr music office during a US tour, but this does def give me some of what's great about a tiny desk. live band is awesome of course. there's a couple of things we miss without an office tiny desk (i personally love love npr's mixing, which is obviously not on this, plus the npr staffer audience is always cool). hopefully when covid is over and kpop acts are touring the US again we can get more proper ones.
but yeah, kpop done live with a band just sounds even better, BIBI does the most of it (tho Stella Jang also does some on her youtube). the Mdromeda youtube channel had some (including from Solji of EXID) so maybe we'll get more in the future.
