Is Yankee Cheese what the empire calls American Cheese?
Best tip? freeze steak and chuck, get a kitchenaid mixer with meat grinder attachment and make your own ground beef!
American cheese is perfect on a burger. The problem is people tend to use that plastic cheese stuff on a burger instead of, you know, like a slice of cheddar or brie.
If we're talking American cheese for a burger, then it's Pepper Jack all day long.

WTF does butter on laundry have to do with...fucking anything???
I'm actually LOLing. It's so perfectly unrelated, and it was mentioned in such a casual "because, obviously..." kinda way that it's brilliant comedy. That buttered laundry thing is fucking me up real bad. It's both the funniest and most confusing shit I've read all week.
I'd say I have burger without cheese about 70% of the time.
Gotta have a raw white onion tho. That shit is just gorgeous
Psst OP the thing you're acting really smug about discovering is called a hamburger, and you didn't discover it, it was invented by Louis Lassin nearly 120 years ago.guess we're in the minority. cool with me. all i know is that i'm not the one consuming empty calories :)

.Use better cheese. You should absolutely be getting some of the flavor.
I don't follow this at all but its a phrase I'd like to start incorporating into my life more.
So it turns out cheese is just there for the creamy texture. I discovered this today when I made some burgers without cheese (butter got all over my laundry) and found out that they were still pretty good and tasted pretty much identical to normal burgers. I'm still gonna put cheese on my burgers but I won't feel pressured to.
A whole onion? That seems like it would make the burger unwieldy.
