I'm legit curious how carnivores are going to survive out in the wilderness, especially if they encounter police/trigger happy gun owners. Unless these people behave incompetently like the police not shooting at the Buck Tyrannosaurus during his rampage/search for his baby.
JW1 had four screenwriters, among them Trevorrow and Connolly. The other two were Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver, who were also the story writers. FK was all Trevorrow and Connolly. Dominion's screenplay (and Battle At Big Rock's) is by Trevorrow and a co-writer on Pacific Rim: Uprising, with story again by Trevorrow and Connolly.

We might in whatever the next trilogy is, though, maybe depending on what happens in this.
I stand by the original Jurassic World being great and the only good sequel in the series.

like cartoon parody sequels to jurassic park but done in live action instead
the series has just gotten worse every installment after the first one
hey at least its got dat nostalgia going on with the casting
but to be honest if there are dinosaurs to be had I'm probably going to see it, that's just how that works
hopefully they can pinch something out with dialogue that hurts less to listen to
maybe with the dinos loose across the world now things might actually feel a little fresh this go around

Sam Neill needs to just be living his life on a farm, see a Raptor run by, and he just lowers his head and mutters "fucking idiots."

Plot-wise it's pretty terrible, but it's a *really* good looking movie because Bayona is great
God I hated Fallen Kingdom. I liked the first half but the second half of the movie sucked so bad. It was the same thing with The Lost World, great first half shitty second half. The first Jurassic World I've watched way too many times though. I like the simple premise and it's just a good popcorn flick where I can turn my brain off. Jurassic Park 1 is also top tier.

Both World and Fallen Kingdom were shite. The ending of the latter was particularly galling. This will likely be shite too.

I'm going to ignore how Era disproportionately hates these movies compared to every else, cause the disproportionately love David Lynch and I wouldn't take a trade.

Much better than JW. Dumb, very dumb action, but mostly fun, the shitty kids aren't main characters, and the awful gender dynamics of JW are gone, Pratt's got less space to act like a shithead, so yeah, overall a great improvement although obviously still a very dumb roller coaster ride action movie.

No, animal cruelty makes my blood boil.
The dinosaurs did nothing wrong. They're just wild animals trying to survive. They certainly don't deserve to die trapped in a cage, dying painfully from gas.
I mean Animal cruelty is bad...
But by releasing them they let untold number of innocent people die. That is completely and utterly fucked up. I'm sure little Billy getting ripped to shreds by a Dinosaur will be very understanding of why they needed to be freed.

There's a hearing held at the end of the movie
announcing that dinosaurs are part of the world now. The dinos likely aren't going to go charging into cities laying siege, they're going to stay in the wilderness. Like if little Billy is going camping in the mountains in the Neo Jurassic Age, then his parents better come loaded for bear.
They were terribly dumb, but JW 1 and 2 were just really fun to watch. I'm somewhat excited for this.
I might have liked Jurassic World more if not for the insufferable subplot with those two kids. I worked at an AMC in Summer 2018 and saw big sections of Fallen Kingdom several times over and it certainly seemed like the disaster folks say it was. The first was a 6/10; if I saw the full sequel, I'd likely hover around a 3/10.

Yeah I agree. World was amazing way to continue the story (and a nice throw back to the original). Fallen Kingdom had some nice ideas but failed to land them and was more stuff you see in movies like Fast and Furious, cool but no real sense in why its happening.
