For as much as they've pushed Tegan (and I like Tegan), they've done like zero character work with her.

Yeah. Her entire stint on NXT so far has been defined by "oh feel bad for her because of her injuries" with pinch of "hey she likes captain marvel, kane, and molly holly".
Io Shirai is so good that she even makes Tegan Nox's chokeslam only look bad and not the usual complete shit.
Dakota is almost certainly losing as well. Either the endgame is Candice/Io, or they are just going to give Io a very long reign in general since she's one of their biggest draws rating wise right now.
Tegan held up her end, and the Molly-Go-Round made me think that she might win. The main problem is that they have done nothing to really push her as a top babyface,and having the episode end with Dakota Kai taking out Io Shirai didnt help her.
Yes, on TV so not even a dark match where we can pretend it doesn't mean anything. Testing the waters with this to see if they can get away with bringing Tessa if WWE doesn't want her I'm sure. She's basically the proto-Tessa.
Their entire series together is as amazing as it is terrifying. Some of those spots will never be topped and should never, ever be reattempted.
Yeah Dakota's definitely losing and that's fine. But she feels like a much bigger star than Tegan to me. I think Io needs to keep it for a while. Not like Shayna reign of terror long, but for a while.
I mean no one else really works they way they do in the US.
I'm mad we'll never get 4hw vs 4hw because Jessamyn and Marina are complete garbage in the ring.
They better build up Candice vs Shirai good, they have a lot of history to create a main event feud
I really liked the Cody/ Sunny Kiss match in that it somehow caught the feeling of watching an NCCA tourney game where the much lower seed is giving one of the favorites a hell of a fight. Like it's clear Cody is levels above Kiss but he's making careless mistakes, getting frustrated but gets his act together to pull it through at the end.
Shida's english was great on Dynamite, glad they didn't feel the need to subtitle her either. Sucks that so many wrestlers can't be part of the tapings but hopefully they get some great freelance talent more exposure and they end up better for it.
Ivelisse and Brian Pillman Jr. It's been a series of very encouraging signs about their talent scouting.
The whole Teagan likes Molly Holly and Kane is a very unique angle to go for, as in it appeals directly to me specifically and no one else, a bold play but it still doesn't quite work on the whole, Nox is still just okay
Dakota Kai has slightly more going on than Tegan Nox.

Lucha Underground S1E8,9 — AZTEC WARFARE!!!!! Two fun af episodes! Such a good twist on a Rumble! Fenix is a step above everyone else, but man that powerbomb backbreaker and back body drop into powerbomb from Penta were incredible! And damn that was a satisfying finish. Had me totally invested.
