You have Senator Lankford doing the 'I didn't know my racist disparaging of black votes was racist' apology tour, there will be more to distance.

I hope he isn't made to be the lone scapegoat. Many people were involved in this garbage rhetoric and need to pay accordingly. I'm glad some corporations are doing their part.

Eric Cantor's primary loss is something that I always think back to for pure pleasure. This motherfucker had the gall to try and spout ACA lies to Obama's face to look good for the cameras and despite all that he STILL lost to the crazy nuts of the party. The crazy thing is Cruz tried to One Up Hawley and built a team, Hawley just went solo.
I've noticed that overplaying their hand has consistently been a problem with these GoP Rising Stars. My guess is that they saw how fast Obama rose through the ranks and think they can do it too and it'll be easy, never realizing WHY Obama had such a meteoric rise in US politics or the circumstances that led to it.
