The guy who said Ukraine met anti corruption guidelines and was eligible to receive US aid has been fired asked to resign. Two anonymous Pentagon officials, who totally arent Trump stooges, said it was unrelated to the Ukraine aid.

In his resignation letter, Rood noted that Defense Secretary Mark Esper had asked for his resignation on behalf of Trump.

John Rood, the Pentagon's under secretary for policy, will leave his post at the end of the month, said Pentagon press secretary Alyssa Farah. Rood's is the latest in a series of departures of officials who had at least some involvement in investigations involving the Trump administration.

I can't tell what's petty revenge and what's cover up attempts with this administration. It's fucking insane.

The Purge continues.

Sondland was the most striking. When both Vindman brothers were fired, the WHite House asked for Gordon Sondland's resignation. Sondland actually refused, correctly saying that it would look like a purge if he resigned on the same day that the Vindman's were re-assigned. So the White House fired him instead, on the same day.

The message has never been more clear. You don't work for the American government. You don't work for the American tax payer. You don't work for the Constitution of the United States. If you serve in this government, you work for Donald Trump, you work for his interests. Protecting his interests will get you rewarded, putting any interests -- like that of the American taxpayer, congress, the constitution, or any others -- ahead of Donald Trump's interests will get you publicly shamed, blacklisted by half of government, fired, attacked, and threatened by Trump's mass horde.

Trump totally learned a lesson from impeachment. Fire all the holdovers and replace them with stooges.

Can you imagine the massive housecleaning a potential Democrat* would need to do if they took over office?

I would bide my time, have everyone freezed and locked out of their systems, and do it in one fell swoop. If you've been brought in by the previous administration - you're gone, don't care who you area, what level - top to bottom, clean the whole thing out.

Every time someone was fired it would be the reverse of the hiring announcements:

The Incoming New Administration just fired the chief Economics adviser, a drunk TV pundit who told people the property bubble was fine. Krakatoa Superfund, the Chief advisor to the Environmental Department, a forty foot tall plutonium robot who lives in a children's cancer ward, famous for shooting cataracts of asbestos and lead acid from his distended radioactive rear, was also relieved of his duties today in what incoming administration officials describved as standard procedure.
