They've already passed legislation for that, you can go into forbearance for up to 12 months. Go talk to your bank.
There's a push in Congress currently make a mortgage freeze happen for some types of federally-backed mortgages - by just automatically adding on however many months are frozen to the end of the current mortgage without increasing any fees. The process right now is not automatic so some banks are doing ridiculous things to mortgage holders but that's something that should absolutely be in place.
A great deal of Americans will rally behind him, of all colors and stripes so we don't endure 4 more years of Trump. No amount of AstroTurf pit the left again the "left" shenanigans that happen on forums and twitter will change that.

No way that's happening. The narrative has swung towards opening things back up and getting people back to work. I wouldn't count on even another stimulus check, let alone rent or mortgage freezes.
I don't see why it'll be any different than last time. Same bad faith actors are still around.
That can change in an instant once infections sky rocket again. Opening businesses again isn't going to result in the pandemic ending sooner.
