I feel like we are back in the '90s with companies creating video game divisions just because. I presume they will be making VR games.
I contemplated making a joke along these lines, even though "mystery box" storytelling is common in video games.
JJ wouldn't have to do much work if he chose CD Projekt Red's -- it already runs at 24 fps.
I hope they make short AAA experiences. We need more high quality 5-8 hours games too. Make it like a TV season in episodes.

Oh my god, imagine doing all the stunts Tom has recently done in VR. HALO jump? Hanging on the side of a plane? Climbing the Burj Khalifa?
You don't change position in 3D space. It's not going to have the same effect.
Things like wind and gravity have no VR presence.
Bad Robot does have game development experience. They made an awful game mode for TF2 that nobody plays or cares about.
