Yes they've really fucked up by promoting the guy who has been with the company since 1994 and is the reason why PlayStation dominates everyone else in Europe. They truly did. The guy knows what he is doing.

He's done an amazing job in Europe but his stance on original PS games, backwards compatibility and cross play is a little concerning.
It will be interesting to see the direction he takes as CEO.
Yeah, he just went to the room where they do the PS5 and crossed out BC on the board. It was a weird decision given that R&D and supply chain management still takes years to plan and execute but somehow he managed to change the hardware design months after it was probably finalized.
