Evangelicals truly are some of (if not THE) worst people on the planet. If they were normal and not greedy, hypocritical pieces of shit this whole thing would not have ruined their lives.

I am really surprised Falwell didn't just buy him out. Those receipts are damning. There is no coming back from this.
Michael Cohen (yes, that Michael Cohen) came in as a fixer to hush this up originally. That's allegdly part of how Trump got Falwell's endorsement in 2016 despite all logic.
That is what is so wild to me. Enormous effort has already gone to covering this up (somewhat unsuccessfully). Maybe he just got tired of running.
