According to a report from TMZ filed Monday, Pacheco is asking for sole custody for herself and monitored visitation for Renner regarding their daughter. Last November, Sonni has alleged, the Avengers actor was drinking and doing cocaine at a club when he started "talking about killing Sonni" because he "could not deal with her anymore and he just wanted her gone."

In a statement, a rep for the actor called the allegations a "one-sided account" of the situation.

UPDATED 4:40 p.m. ET: Legal documents filed by Jeremy Renner dispute allegations from his ex-wife, Sonni Pacheco, and level new claims back at her. Renner says he doesn't have substance abuse issues but Pacheco does, and that her time with their daughter Ava should be limited. TMZ reports the Marvel actor "even states he submitted to random drug testing for 3 months to defeat Sonni's claims" and "hired a mental health specialist to monitor his visits with Ava to prove he was both sober and a capable parent."

Renner's grievances say Pacheco boasted about having "bagged an Avenger" during their one-year marriage. He wants her to address her mental health and "overcome her overwhelming obsession with demonizing" him.

That is insane. Never heard of Renner being unhinged but I wouldn't be surprised these days, especially when alcohol and freaking cocaine are involved.

Being a Hollywood star accused of bringing up murdering your wife and your defense being that it is a "one-sided account" of the situation should tell you all you gotta know about the whole thing.

Jeremy Renner might have the craziest year of any celebrity. Started out being in the biggest movie of all time, became a summer punchline because of his insane app & music career, and now he's probably going to be cancelled.

I have no clue, maybe it's a cocktail that drives people to say/do crazy shit.

The fact that he does cocaine while drinking heavily is grounds to remove custody of their daughter from him though. My sister won custody over my nephew because his father has a history of cocaine use.

If Renner wants to prove himself to the courts, he needs to demonstrate that he's clean.

    You would think you people would learn not to just take these accusations as fact all of the time. I don't know him, and maybe he is an unhinged asshole, but this is just he said, she said with a lot of money on the line.

    Why can't people with this kind of success stay away from alcohol and drugs. Quit throwing everything away for a high.

    (granted, some of the best actors/actresses seem to be the most stressed/disturbed/hurting people)
