For the record, in their last financial report, Remedy said they are working on 2 games with Epic Games, one being AAA and one being smaller.
The AAA one, which would be Alan Wake 2, will enter production in spring 2021 and the smaller game has already entered production last year.
Around 100 people are working on those projects.

They've been trying to make Alan Wake 2 for years and funding was always the problem. It's not like Epic bought the distribution rights for an already finished game, they are the reason the game is getting made at all.
i wouldn't expect the game to come to steam. this won't be a timed-exclusivity moneyhat from epic, they're the publisher here.
I would love that! Alan Wake 1 with ray-traced lighting would be incredible. Make sure they redo the lipsync too.
This is how Epic shoulda done it from the start instead of poaching top wishlisted games.
