I don't think it's coming out this year but 2021 at the earliest? Wasn't the game playable from start to finish months ago?
My guess is fall 2020. But honestly I don't care just make it great and please add Ray Tracing support.

Before last E3 it was playable from beginning to end. It's been a year since then. That thing has to be feature complete and in beta by now, a year and we know they do crunch.
The Alpha comes out in 20/7/7 for PS4, followed by a Alpha Enhanced version for PS5 in November 2020. Then the Beta Firmware Update paid expansion around E3 2021. This game is not fully complete anytime soon.
To me 2019 goal has always made sense because of their internal goal of having 2x AAA games out by end of 2022 (did I remember that right?). Slip into early 2020 would still let them hold to that if there is already pre-production on next game.
There going to pull a Rockstar where they announce the "release date" fully knowing that shit's going to be delayed
The fact they're aiming for 2019 or that we'll get a 2019 window is still exciting as fuck despite knowing it'll get bumped back to early 2020. lol
