I'm saying that he's surprisingly decent and hope he has a future in (I think, as mentioned previously) California politics or as an enlightened donor. He's not a viable presidential candidate.

I will vote for anyone on the stage. (The recent Iran crisis pushed Bernie to a tie with Warren for me.)
Eh, I don't find him genuine at all.

This is why I don't think thr MSN is inherently against Sanders. They ask questions that are inflammatory. They just want views.

Have any of these candidates published their proposed policies to the common issues that are constantly being asked:
- immigration
- the widening inequality between the rich and the poor
- healthcare
- global warming
Yes they all have their stances on their respective campaign sites.
sadly thesedebates are trash so its hard to know their stances just based off this

New York, NY
Notre Dame is a private school, your other examples are either 1. Extremely competitive research schools or 2. Mostly filled with in-state middle class kids. The ultra wealthy send their kids to private colleges.

Yeah, I work in college admissions and ultra rich manhattan kids most definitely go to public schools as well. Obviously not the ones that can get into Top 10 schools, but no one looks down on those schools for being public - what they care about is prestige, and plenty of public schools are prestigious.

The better solution would be to open up new federal universities which are tuition free rather than just subsidizing state schools who will get to charge the federal government whatever they want (and would this free tuition be for in-state residents only or out of state residents too).

Funny how CNN is okay when they go in on Pete, but are horrible when they go after Bernie.

If you want him to be the frontrunner, he needs to handle the annoying questions like a frontrunner. Clinton didn't cry about shit.

People can't handle the format of debate questions asking direct and borderline leading to get specific answers.

Steyer's just happy to be here. Sure, he doesn't deserve it and bought his way onto a national stage, but dammit you can't hate his enthusiasm.

Everyone is getting those types of Q's tonight

Also: Sanders does call himself a Democratic socialist, and Americans still don't know what that means.

Idk. I believe that corporations value drama and profit above all set. If they can make a provocative title they will. It's about enagement and view(and profit) it turns out that drama gets more clicks and therefore they'll focus more on it then they will.

Ok, let me explain this;

Asking a question like "You're a Democratic Socialist, what challenges do you think you will face?" will allow the candidate to dance around the question and ignore it if it's not really "in their favor" to answer. It's too broad for the timespan they are given.

Asking the question as "You label yourself as Democratic Socialist, polling suggest that's going to be an issue, tell us why it won't be" gives you little "wiggle" room for the candidate to escape the question and gets you a more direct answer in the time span wanted.

I'll go check them out. Sanders, Warren and for some reason Steyer seems to be the best candidates so far.

And Fuck i hate the way Klobacar talks.

Bernie was going to have to deal with this shit sooner or later. If he has the potential to eke out a win, he's gotta start getting practice at tackling them in a national spotlight. CNN is sensationalist garbage, but it's better Bernie find his sea legs now than on stage with Donald Trump. He's fighting the hegemony, he's inherently waging an uphill battle.

Chill out, people.
