Do you walk around the house switching off lights in rooms?
(I have noticed I have started doing that...)

I installed smart bulbs throughout the house so I could automate this particular part of getting old.

I listen to the the Grateful Dead all the time, I check lights and locks all the time, and I announce the mail to the house.

lol, that's a good approach. I had been considering motion lights.
That's me. All the kids turn on all the lights and I end up walking around turning them all off...and picking up their socks.

I was there by 30. Specifically setting up our living room to be anti-guest with only two chairs, getting mad when someone knocked on the door or dropped by without giving me at least 3 hours' notice, maintaining a stranglehold on the thermostat, waking up super early on the weekends because I didn't want to sleep away my Home Depot time...
Do you plan out your day based on your time/distance between clean bathrooms?

I realized this a while ago when it was late at night, the house was silent and instead of enjoying the peace and quiet I got seriously tilted over an empty candy wrapper lying on the table INSTEAD OF IN THE GARBAGE BIN WHERE IT BELONGS.

Does 'cat's in the cradle... little boy blue' refer to the superstition of cat's sucking baby's breaths away? That sentence, though beautiful, always confused me in the context of the song.
