Like the 80s are about to be what the 50s were to the 1990s, or what World War fucking II was to the 80s.

How do i cope with this, its like 4 am.

Thinking about World War 1 being literally a hundred years ago is the statistic that always gets me.

Just pretend that it's still the 80s/90s.

Duran Duran are a fresh new band.

Everyone still has Pac-Man Fever.

People are looking forward to a new Police Academy movie coming out.

This video reminds me so much of my childhood in the 80's,

Remember hooking up the news and playing it on a tv in our second room we had, my cousins and all of us taking turns playing Mario/Duck Hunt and some other games. The days of blowing in the carts when they wouldn't boot up.

Fuck I feel so old now.

We are closer to the year 2030 than we are the year 2000.

I saw that on Twitter the other day and I had to sit down.

Thankfully most of my time during the 80s was spent not giving a fuck because I was a child still...I miss the 80s...

I actually feel a lot better as a 30+ year old guy than I did at my 20's.

Miss my 16-19 years old phase, though.

I never let stuff like that get to me. I mean, everyone, if they are lucky, gets old; it's not like it's only happening to us, you know?

Apologies for the over seriously reply to your obviously light-hearted moment of crisis.

I know Zemickis is vehemently against it but I think a pretty good modern Back to the Future remake that travels back to the 80's could work The soundtrack would be dope af and I think Tom Holland could make a pretty good contemporary Marty, (No idea who would be a good Doc though).

You know if they had a remake release next year and stayed true to the details, Marty would actually be going to 1990...

Yeah getting old sucks. But, in a sense, the 80s where never gone. They are still here somehow.

if they made "that 90s show" today it would be closer to the 90s than it was to the 70s when "that 70s show" first aired.

GTA Vice City releases closer to its time period than we currently are to the release of Vice City. Fuck.

it used to freak me out but i've made my peace with it

like a gigabyte in the early 80s took up an entire physical room ... thinking about stuff like that your mind can only set up enough defense mechanisms against "dude, you're old as fuck"

Greece
we are the 2020s, to what the 80s were to the 40s.
Yeah but with none of the partying, Media Boom or fat wads of cash that was being thrown around for the new working force. We got climate change, memes, and a dystopian future.

lucky you, it fucks me up that the 90s are not 10 years ago.
I'm reminded by that just cause of my age, but yeah its been weird that I have spent more time living in the 2000s then the 1900s. I mean its been like that since 2008 but when the hell did 2008 end up 11 years ago?
