It feels like Marvel might be setting up The Squadron Supreme for a MCU debut.

I would love to see any version of Nighthawk. One thing I hated about Netflix Defenders (other than it just being pretty shit quality in general) was it being the Bendis version, I have always been a huge fan of the original team that had quite a bit of Kyle Richmond, and even they kind of hated/made fun of him at every chance, not even hiding they mostly kept him around for his money.
To be fair Peter himself made this(and a couple other alter egos) each focused on one aspect of his powers that later got stolen by a tech villain, retooled and sold
Betting on them being villains rather than heroes.
If they are making a Thunderbolts thing, would make for good foils (though maybe powers scaled down a bit). Or hell, mash em up and the Thunderbolts use the SS as their identities.

Heroes Reborn as a concept is a limited series/event hybrid. Regardless of the popularity, it was designed as a conclusive story from its inception.

I can see them showing up during the official Thunderbolts debut event. Either outright crashing it or some shit pops off and they swoop in to save the day, stealing all the shine.
Casting all DCEU actors would be fun, but maybe that's too meta and would be distracting.
No, that was completely unfounded speculation because one of the characters had the same name.
The Squadron Supreme was actually created in 1971, so they're pretty old characters. However, they only started getting any appearances at all outside of comics in the last decade or so. Even so they're very minor ones. For example, the only cartoons that featured them were Super Hero Squad and Avengers Assemble. Hyperion's first appearance in a console game was in DLC for Lego Avengers, and outside of Lego, the Squadron Supreme's other appearances have only been in mobile games.

Even though it's not canon, the Snyder cut did vastly improve JL though.
