I was thinking about it but the spider-man PS4 pro is just so cool I don't think I could ever get rid of it. Also have PT on it and wouldn't wanna lose that.

Is there any reason to keep a ps4/ps4 pro if buying a PS5?

I'm keeping my slim. It's a good console. Still can't believe I (my parents) got it for $258 in 2016
On one hand you may want to sell it while it's worth something. On the other hand your personal all-time favorite may fall into that 1%, who knows.
As for the former, as PS5 BW compatibility gets proven along the way, the PS4 resale value would continue to diminish IMHO.

Im sure the games that won't work are those that uses peripherals like Disney Infinity, LEGO dimensions and Guitar Hero.

I'm keeping mine until I get the free PSVR/camera adapter at least. I suspect it will take weeks to get but who knows.
You can't blame people for being cautious. It's not like we've had the designer of the system spell it out that compatibility is built into the die..
Sold mine for 330 last week before the value plummets. I got plenty of good years from it, and now I'll get more from the PS5.

Probably not, I'm just keeping mine as a dedicated Blu Ray and streaming player. I don't really get rid of systems anyway.
I'm still waiting to see if all the video apps will work on PS5 day one. I still use my PS4 for youtube, Netflix, Prime, etc.

Nope. I'm selling my White PS4 Pro (upgraded to 2TB) as soon as possible - why keep it when the PS5 will play all of my games? I don't play or own any niche titles.
