I refuse to believe this, I will not live in that reality.I'm about to ruin this for you. The scream is edited in. The original has no scream.

:)
Tbh I like it more without the scream. It just creates a different type of scream in my head hahaha
It's that dive he takes, isn't it? Dude lived for his job
Kinda like thisPropeller man looks like a jackass stunt with its framing. It has a whole "check this shit out" setup with the shaky cam and everything, followed by some wacky physics.
While not really unintentional, the "call a paramedic!" line after this RoboCop death scene kills me every time.
Context please. Is this some amateur film 5 people made with a rented camera some bored Sunday afternoon? Or is this actual goddamn show with trained actors and production values???
Holy shit.
I've never seen Robocop and don't know shit about it, aside from the stupid-looking Robo... cop.
But that scene was dark as hell. Like that could give me nightmares. I sense a darkly ironic tone when the businessmen immediately move to the corner and discuss things as if that extremely fucked up event didn't affect them at all, like they're literally only concerned about the money they could lose/make. You even hear a woman sobbing in the background as they're talking.
Like, that's funny as shit. But not ha ha funny. Like American Psycho funny.
I still remember seeing this on VHS and just busting a gut. I can't think of any other death scene that tops it in unintentional hilarity.
Another honorable mentions:

It's one of the best satires of action movies ever created. Just ignore everything after the first one.
I'm surprised no-one has mentioned the OC yet:
Which gave us the best SNL digital short:

I will maintain that Robocop 2 has its moments along with a fuckton of missed potential.
See, the whole scene is fucking over-the-top but there is tension so it ALMOST works...
...until the dad's carcass hits the ground like fucking Wile E. Coyote in Looney Tunes and I bust a gut every time.

That's scene from Covenant was so tense and uncomfortably hilarious at the same time. There were several deaths in both Prometheus and Alien: Covenant that I'm pretty sure were intended to be taken seriously but came off as hilarious. Even the nearly slapstick slipping on blood aspect in Covenant had people laughing out loud when I was watching it.
I'd love to know which parts you mean
That orc was magnificent. He was a brave soldier doing his duty to fulfill his mission. I also thought it was a nod to the famous apple commerical. It's that dive he takes, isn't it? Dude lived for his job
Given Peter Jacksons origins I wouldn't be surprised if it was supposed to be a tad dark humor
That one is a pretty good one but personally the one that made me laugh hysterically the first time I watched was this one:
What compelled Shyamalan to think this scene is in anyway scare is beyond me.
You know, hot dogs get a bad rep.I'm still sad we never find out what happened to hot-dog-man. I'm invested in his journey.
He is literally known as "Propeller Guy" and this surprised you???
It might have worked if they had chosen any other sound effect for when he hits the ground.
