there are a handful of songs in both games that he didn't compose, but he did the vast majority, yeah
Took long enough for this to be posted. The unsung hero of Sonic 2.
I figured those were just licensed tracks, but he handpicked them.there are a handful of songs in both games that he didn't compose, but he did the vast majority, yeah
Never actually cared much about any of the music from Sonic games, so no, wouldn't even make my top 100 list I don't think.
3D Blast is always forgotten despite its superior soundtrack.I'd argue that there's a TON of music in the first 3 Sonics that would be top contenders, with Flying Battery being my favorite
Sonic has amazing music."Is a sonic song better than most pieces of video game music"
The answer is yes, generally yes. I don't think you will ever get an argument. Sonic has people singing wack rap lyrics to this day
It's definitely up there, yeah. I'm also fan of the modern remix in Sonic Generations.
I came here to post this. I played Generations the day it came out and I can't tell you how awesome it was to play a 3D sonic title I actually enjoyed. Not only enjoyed, but got that familiar adrenaline rush I got when I first played the original titles.
Green Hill Zone got me pumped. Then Chemical Plant's classic remix hit...
Sonic Generations low-key had the best OST of any game the last couple of gens without the words "Super Mario Galaxy" in them somewhere.
Rooftop Run (Classic) is one of the great video game tracks of all time, nevermind Sonic tracks.
I thought Rooftop Run had incredible tracks, both classic and modern. That rail grinding transition from the clock tower to the ground level was one of my most memorable moments in a 3D sonic title.
Great song, even though the first one that comes to mind for me is Labyrinth Zone, even though it's my least favorite area in the first game. I just love the way the chorus comes in. Funny to look back on how quickly most tracks used to loop.
Almost forget White Jungle
Rhythm and Balance (White Jungle) - Sonic Adventure 2 [OST]

It probably has contributed to why I haven't been in the ocean for at least 15 years now. LOLAHH ALL I CAN THINK ABOUT IS THAT DROWNING MUSIC MAKE IT STOP!
Seriously.. it terrified me as a kid..
