Is it worth playing DQXI S in 2D mode if I already beat the main 3D game fully?

So the game released on GP, I just started it but it seems the 2D version of the game is just a simplified version of the 3D one.
While in the main game you can explore to get shining items on the ground etc with the top view you can easily spot everything and usually you can recognize boxes etc very easily in this mode.

I wonder if I should replay the game again just to experiment the 2D mode.

Also it seems very strange there's no dub at all in the 2D version, just subttiles? Is it supposed to be this way?

The 2D mode is neat, but I felt like it wasn't up to DQ6 quality levels or anything; it was just a cut down representation. Apart from playing the added content I never really want back to 2D, even on Switch...
